The European Union’s new directives to check the use of fluorinated gases mean it is necessary to find heating, ventilation and air-conditioning solutions which are both clean and consume less energy.
Stiral assists firms in this business by carrying out studies simulating heat exchange on innovative systems.
Possible solutions :
- COMHEX© heat exchangers with a high exchange coefficient, which limits the amount of liquid used. Existing solutions can thus be kept until stricter regulations are introduced.
- Furthermore, to eliminate coolants others ways of producing heat will have to be found. The Stirling engine is already available for cooling applications, however our own Stirling-engine concept can serve as a heat pump, generating heat witout the use of coolant. Given its performance, it could easily find its place in a promising technology-development project.
